Christmas 2011

'Twas just weeks before Christmas...
and all through the new house

were glimpses of messes
made by my small elves.
The stockings were hung from the stairwell with care
with the hopes that tomorrow, E'd still leave them there.The elves have been busy; they boarded a train to take in the climate and rugged terrain ;o)
There's been hockey
and hiking
and fun times with friends.
We're struggling to get winter thoughts in our heads.
But as we sip our iced coffee and soak up the rays,
we ponder how blessed we are each of our days,

with a wonderful FATHER, and family, and friends

a SAVIOR who loves us and took all our sins,

that we may know HIM in every which way

and live in His mercy, love, blessings, and grace.

So as I write this small note, there's a wish from afar,

that hope, faith and love are filling your hearts.

That your homes will be filled with peace and good cheer,

and oodles of blessings throughout the next year :o)
